'Vila Nova de Milfontes' is characterized for its traditional architecture of white, blue and yellow houses. In the oldest part of the village, there are narrow streets crossing the buildings and leading to the River. The proximity to the sea lends the village a warm, tempering climate and there's always a fresh, cool breeze calming the Summer nights.
